Usage and limits: what counts and what happens at the limit

Where to see how much of your plan you use, what each number counts, the alerts at 80 % and 100 %, and what pauses above the limit.

Your plan sets how much each service can do. Plan & usage shows how much of it you use, and Monfri warns you before you reach a limit.

See your usage

In the menu, open Plan & usage. Under Usage, every limit of your plan has a row with what you use, the limit and a bar — for example Emails this month 8,200 / 10,000. Unlimited means the plan has no limit there; a row with no limit and nothing used is left out.

The numbers come from the services every hour, so a big send can take up to an hour to show.

What each number counts

Row What counts
Identified profiles People you know — Unified Profiles on the plans. Monfri takes the largest of four numbers: CRM contacts, Push subscribers, e-mail subscribers and CDP profiles with an e-mail address or a user ID. The same person in CRM, Push and CDP counts once. Anonymous visitors do not count.
Emails this month Every e-mail sent this calendar month — campaigns, recipes and transactional e-mails alike.
Push notifications this month Every web push sent this calendar month.
Automation runs this month Every run of a flow this calendar month, recipes included.
AI credits this month The AI that Automation's AI steps use this month. The AI of Assistant, Pages and Agents has its own limits.
Assistant conversations this month, Assistant AI tokens this month, Assistant bots The chatbot's conversations and AI this month, and its active bots — Assistant shows the same under Анализ (Analytics): Analytics.
Team members People in the workspace. When you invite, open invitations use a seat too.

The other rows count what their names say: Pipelines, Segments, Automation flows, Connections, Projects, Sending domains, Integrations, Email templates.

A few limits are not in this list — CDP events, Pages and Agents. Each of those services shows its own, and their alerts come by e-mail like the rest.

Monthly counters start again on the first day of each month. The example records that fill a new workspace never count — see Sample data: what it is and how to remove it.

Alerts before the limit

  • At 80 % and again at 100 % of a limit, the primary owner gets an e-mail: Usage alert: the limit at 80% of your plan, with the numbers and the service it belongs to. One e-mail per limit and level a month.
  • Over the limit, the service it belongs to shows a notice, so whoever works there sees it too.

Above the limit

Nothing stops at the limit itself. What pauses, and when:

What Pauses at Until
Campaigns — e-mail and push 120 % of the monthly allowance the next month or a larger plan
The chatbot's AI 120 % of its conversations or AI tokens — it keeps answering from its menu and your questions and answers the next month or a larger plan
Agent runs 120 % of their monthly runs or AI budget the next month or a larger plan
Everything else does not pause —

Receipts, order confirmations, password resets and every other transactional message are never stopped by a limit.

Get back under the limit

  • Clean up what you no longer need: old segments, test flows, contacts that bounced.
  • Move to a larger plan: Change your plan.
  • More than Scale: write to [email protected] for a custom plan.

If something doesn't work

The number in Usage looks wrong

It can be up to an hour old. For Identified profiles, remember it is the largest of the four sources, not their sum: check which service has the most.

Campaigns stopped sending

The month's e-mails or push notifications passed 120 % of the plan, or the workspace is read-only. Plan & usage shows which: a full Emails this month bar, or a banner at the top. See Plans, the free trial, and what happens when it ends.

Your plan allows … members

The seat limit, when you invite. Revoke an open invitation or remove a member: Invitations: send, resend, accept.
