Change your plan: upgrade, downgrade, monthly or yearly

Move to a larger or a smaller plan, or between monthly and yearly billing — when each change applies and how it is billed.

Online payments are being activated. Until they are, write to [email protected] to change your plan — we change it for you. The steps below are how it works once payments are open.

Only an owner of the workspace can change the plan, in the first workspace of the account — the one that pays.

Change the plan

Either:

  • Plan & usage → Change plan, or
  • Plan & usage → Choose a Plan / Change Plan → Plans, and Upgrade or Downgrade on a plan.

Both open Stripe's billing portal with the list of plans, monthly and yearly. Choose the new one, check what the portal says about the price, and confirm.

When it applies

Change When How it is billed
Upgrade — a larger plan At once: the new limits are on in every service in a few minutes. Stripe works out the difference for the rest of the current period and adds it to your next invoice.
Downgrade — a smaller plan At the end of the period you have paid for. Until then you keep the larger plan. The next period is billed at the smaller price.
Monthly → yearly At once — it costs more now. The difference is worked out by Stripe and shows on the next invoice.
Yearly → monthly At the end of the paid year. Monthly billing starts then.

After the change, the primary owner gets an e-mail: …: plan changed to … — The new limits are live in every service.

Before you downgrade

Look at Plan & usage → Usage and compare it with the smaller plan in Choose a plan: Starter, Growth or Scale:

  • Team members — a smaller plan has fewer seats. Nobody is removed, but you cannot invite anyone until you are under the limit.
  • Websites — a smaller plan covers fewer workspaces. Existing ones stay; you cannot add new ones.
  • Monthly volumes — e-mails, push, runs: campaigns pause at 120 % of the new plan's monthly allowance.

Nothing is deleted when you downgrade. Over a limit, you get the usual notices: Usage and limits: what counts and what happens at the limit.

The new limits do not show yet

Wait a few minutes and reload. The services get the new plan from the Hub; if a service still shows the old limits after an hour, write to [email protected].
