Push: e-mail and web push, and where everything is

What Monfri Push sends — e-mail campaigns, web push and transactional messages — how its menu is laid out, what each plan includes and who can do what.

Push is the service that sends: e-mail and browser notifications (web push). Open it from the Hub — Your services → Push — and you are signed in already, in the workspace you are in.

What Push sends

Marketing Transactional
E-mail Campaigns to a list — newsletters, sales, announcements. Only to people who agreed to receive marketing. One message to one person, when something happens — an order confirmation, a cart reminder from a recipe.
Web push Campaigns to the subscribers of a site, or a segment of them. One notification to chosen subscribers — from a recipe or the Send page.

Marketing messages pause when a plan limit is far exceeded; transactional ones never stop for a limit. See Usage and limits.

SMS is not available in Monfri yet.

Getting ready to send e-mail

  1. A sender is ready from the first day: hello@t…monfrimail.com with your workspace's name. Replies go to your own address. See Senders.
  2. Add your own domain for better delivery: Send e-mail from your own domain.
  3. Bring your contacts into a list: Import contacts from a CSV file.
  4. Pick a template and send: Create and send an e-mail campaign.

How many e-mails and notifications a month each plan sends: Choose a plan.

During the free trial, Push sends at most 200 e-mails a day, and stops all e-mail on its own if too many bounce or are marked as spam. Only Monfri support lifts that stop. The recipes' order and account e-mails — the order and shipping confirmations, the thank-you after a purchase, the sign-up welcome — are not counted in the 200.

Who can do what

Role in Push What they can do
Viewer Opens every page, changes and sends nothing — the top of each page says View only.
Editor Creates and edits everything; sends and schedules only with Can send campaigns.
Admin Everything, including API keys, deleting a site's app and deleting a sending domain.

Workspace owners and admins are Push admins. Give access in the Hub: What each person can open: service access.

If something doesn't work

No access to Push

Your role does not include Push. Ask a workspace admin to give you access — see What each person can open: service access.

You have view-only access to Push in this workspace

Your Push role is Viewer. Ask a workspace admin for Editor — see What each person can open: service access.

Sending and scheduling need the "Can send campaigns" permission

You are an Editor without that permission: you can prepare a campaign, and someone with it sends or schedules it. Or ask a workspace admin to tick it for you.
