Four recipes for people who just arrived. How recipes work in general: Recipes.

Welcome series

Greets every new contact with an e-mail address who is not a customer of your shop yet — a newsletter subscriber, a sign-up, a lead.

  • Sends: a welcome right away, a getting-started note a day later, and your best-selling products two days after that. It stops as soon as the person orders.
  • Settings: none.
  • On a site that does not sell online, the three e-mails come without the shop wording.

Registered, never purchased

For people who created an account in your shop but have not ordered in a year.

  • Sends: a helpful reminder after the days you set, then — if they still have not bought — a first-order discount five days later. It stops as soon as they order.
  • Settings: Days to wait before the first nudge (7, from 1 to 25), First-order discount % (second email) (10, from 5 to 50).
  • Code: FIRST10 with the default — it must exist in your shop: Recipe requirements.

First-purchase converter

For contacts who went through the welcome series a while ago and still have not ordered. Run it together with Welcome series — it picks up people the series has welcomed.

  • Sends: one incentive with a first-order discount, the days you set after the series.
  • Settings: Days after the welcome series before nudging (10, from 3 to 60), First-order discount % (10, from 5 to 50).
  • Code: FIRSTBUY10 with the default.

Newsletter signup welcome

Delivers the discount your newsletter pop-up promised, the moment someone subscribes.

  • Sends: one e-mail with the code, right away. It is not a marketing e-mail — the person has just asked for it — so quiet hours and the frequency cap do not hold it.
  • Settings: Signup discount % (10, from 5 to 50).
  • Code: HELLO10 with the default.
  • Needs: your sign-up form passing the person's e-mail address to the Monfri script — a developer task. Until it does, the recipe is live and waits.

If something doesn't work

Welcome series welcomes nobody

Nobody new with an e-mail address arrived, or everyone who arrives is already a customer of the shop — customers get the order recipes instead. Check Recent activity on the recipe's page.

The newsletter discount never goes out

The sign-up does not reach Monfri with an e-mail address: Recipe requirements.
