Every block in the e-mail editor

All 32 blocks of the editor — content, commerce and interactive — what each one shows, its settings, and what an e-mail can and cannot do with it.

Blocks are the pieces of an e-mail. Drag them from the left panel of the editor; select one to set it up on the right: The e-mail editor. Every block also has spacing, Hide on Mobile and, where it makes sense, alignment and colours.

An e-mail is static: what you type is what the recipient gets, and it does not change after it is sent. Commerce blocks show the products and prices you put in them, not live ones.

Content

Block What it shows
Text Paragraphs with bold, italic, underline and links. Merge tags work here: Merge tags.
Image A picture with Alt Text and an optional Link URL. Edge to Edge fills the full width.
Button A link that looks like a button: Button Text, Link URL, size and colours.
Divider A line between parts.
Spacer Empty space of the Height you set.
Columns Blocks side by side — or use a layout from the panel (2 Equal, 1/3 + 2/3…). On phones, columns stack.
Header A Title and a Logo on a background.
Footer Footer Text and the Unsubscribe Link (true / false). Keep it true: a campaign without an unsubscribe link is not sent.
Social Icons that link to your social profiles, side by side or one under another.
Menu A row of links, like a website's menu.
HTML Your own HTML, for what no block does. Scripts and forms do not work in e-mail.
Video A Thumbnail Image that links to the Video URL — e-mail apps cannot play video inside the e-mail.
FAQ/Accordion Questions with their answers, all shown — e-mail cannot fold them.
Quote/Testimonial A quote with the author, company, photo and a star rating.
Code Block Code in a fixed-width font.
Table Rows and columns, with a header row and stripes.
Image Gallery Several pictures in a grid.
Image+Text Row A picture next to text.
Icon+Text Feature Icons with short texts — for benefits or features.
GIF An animated picture, with a Fallback Image for Outlook, which shows only the first frame.
Image Hover A picture that changes to a Hover Image under the mouse — in Apple Mail and a few others; elsewhere the Default Image shows.

Commerce

Block What it shows
Product One product: Product Image, Product Title, Description, Price and a button.
Product Grid Several products in 1–4 Columns.
Coupon/Promo A Coupon Code in a frame, with a Description and an Expiry Date.
Price Table Plans or offers side by side.
Cart Summary Cart Items with quantity and price, Subtotal, Shipping and Total. In a campaign it shows what you typed. The ready-made abandoned-cart templates of the recipes show each shopper's own cart.
Rating/Review A star Rating with the Review Text, the Reviewer Name and photo.

Interactive

Block What it shows
Countdown A title and the end of the offer — for example Offer ends: 12.10.2026, 18:00. An e-mail cannot tick, so it shows the date, not a running timer. Type the end as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM.
Survey/Poll A Question and one button per answer. Each answer is a link you set — to a page that thanks or a form — and its clicks show in the campaign's Click Map.
Progress Bar A bar filled to the Percentage you set, with a Label.
Event/Calendar Event Name, Date, Time, Location, Description and an Add to Calendar URL you provide.
Signature A person's Name, Title, Company, Phone, Email, photo and social links.

Saved blocks

Any block you set up can be saved and reused in other templates: right-click it → Save to Library. See Import, export, versions and saved blocks.

If something doesn't work

The Countdown shows the date as I typed it

The end was not in the YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM form, so it is shown as written. Type it again in that form.

A block looks different in some e-mail apps

Outlook and some others draw e-mail in their own way: GIFs stop on the first frame, hover effects do not work, background images may not show. Send a test to the apps your customers use: Create and send an e-mail campaign.
