Receivables: what customers owe and for how long
The Receivables report shows what customers owe today, how much of it is overdue and by how long, who owes the most and which invoices are the oldest — with a CSV and a scheduled e-mail.
Open Reports → Receivables. You need to see invoices; a manager sees the whole workspace, everyone else the invoices they can see — see Who sees what in CRM.
The numbers
The report is as of today:
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Owed | Everything still owed, with the number of invoices and customers. |
| Overdue | The part past its due date. |
| Over 90 days | The part overdue for more than 90 days. |
| Days to get paid | On average, how long the invoices paid in the last 12 months took. |
What counts as owed: issued tax invoices — sent, viewed or overdue — with something left to pay, after payments and applied credit and debit notes. Drafts and proformas are not owed.
Other currencies than the workspace's are shown separately; they are never added together.
The sections
- How long it is overdue — the owed amount in Not due yet, 1–30 days overdue, 31–60 days overdue, 61–90 days overdue and Over 90 days overdue, counted from the due date.
- Who owes the most — the ten customers with the most owed, with how much is overdue.
- Open invoices — the longest overdue first. The page shows the first ones; the CSV has all of them.
Click an invoice to open it, record a payment or send a reminder.
CSV and e-mail
- The CSV link downloads every open invoice — number, customer, issue and due dates, days overdue, total, owed and currency — with the ageing totals.
- E-mail on a schedule sends the report every morning, every Monday or on the 1st of the month. See Reports.
If something doesn't work
Nothing owed
Every issued invoice is paid. Drafts and proformas are not owed, so they do not appear here.
An invoice I expect is not in the report
It may be a draft (not issued yet — see Send an invoice), a proforma, paid in full, or an invoice you cannot see.
