Products and categories from your store
Browse your store's catalog in CDP, filter by stock and brand, open a product's views, sales and conversion, and see the category tree.
Your store's catalog comes into CDP with the store sync. It is what the recommendations, the price-drop and back-in-stock recipes and the chatbot's product answers work with.
Products
In CDP, open Commerce → Products.
- Search products... finds a product by name.
- All, In Stock and Out of Stock filter by stock.
- All brands narrows to one brand, when your store has brands.
- The two icons at the top switch between a table and a grid of pictures.
The table shows Product, Category, Price and Stock. View product at the end of a row opens the product's page in your store.
A product's details
In Analytics → E-commerce, tab Products, click a product in Product Catalog to open Product Details — how the product does in the period chosen at the top:
| Number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Views | How many times its page was opened. |
| Added to Cart | How many times it went into a cart. |
| Conversion Rate | Purchases per view, in percent. |
| Revenue, Total Purchases, Units Sold, Avg Order Value | What it sold. |
Below are Views & Orders Over Time, Revenue Over Time, the Description and the Attributes from the store.
The numbers come from what visitors did on your site with the Monfri script running — see What CDP collects: events.
Categories
Commerce → Categories shows your store's categories as a tree, each with its number of products. Expand all and Collapse all open or close every branch.
Good to know
- Prices, stock and pictures are your store's own; change them in the store and the next sync brings them in — see Store sync: how often, what, and when it fails.
- For deeper analysis — the products that sell, those that are viewed and not bought, price ranges — see E-commerce analytics: revenue, orders and conversion.
If something doesn't work
No products found
Either nothing matches the search and the filters — clear them — or the store has not synced products. Check Commerce → Connections.
No categories synced yet
Categories is not ticked in the sync, or the store has none. Tick it and click Full Re-sync.
A product shows 0 views
The product's page has not been opened since the script was installed, or the script does not recognise your product pages. See Check that tracking works, and fix it when it does not.
