Workspaces: one per website

What a workspace holds, how to switch between them and create a new one, and why all of yours share one plan.

A workspace holds one website or brand: its data, its team, its services and its settings. What happens in one workspace never mixes with another.

Switch between workspaces

The name of the workspace you are in is at the top of the Hub. Click it to open Workspaces — the list of every workspace you belong to, with your role in each — and click one to switch.

Services opened after that open in the new workspace.

Create a workspace

  • From the switcher: + Create Workspace, type the Workspace Name, click Create. You are switched to it.
  • From the setup guide: + Add another website in step Your domain. The new site gets its own workspace and Monfri switches you there: This site now lives in its own workspace with its name.

One plan for all your workspaces

All the workspaces you create share the plan of your account — the same plan, the same trial end and, if it comes to that, the same read-only state. There is one free trial per account, not one per workspace. Your account is the workspaces you are the primary owner of: if you are a second owner of someone else's workspace, a workspace you create starts your own account, with its own trial.

The plan decides how many websites — workspaces — it covers. When they are all in use, a new one is refused with Your plan includes one workspace. Upgrade the plan of … or Your plan includes … workspaces (sites) and all are in use. See Choose a plan.

In a workspace that shares a plan, Plan & usage says Billing for this workspace is managed in … and how many workspaces are in use. To change the plan or the card, switch to that workspace.

When you have no workspace

If you leave or delete your last workspace, you land on You have no workspace. Create a new one with Create a workspace, or delete your account with Delete my account — see Cancel, export everything, delete a workspace or your account.

If something doesn't work

A service shows a different workspace

Services open in the workspace you are in when you open them. Switch in the Hub first, then open the service again from the Hub.

I don't see a workspace in the list

You are not a member of it. Ask one of its owners or admins to invite you: Invitations.
