Schedule an e-mail campaign, pause it or call it off
Sending later in your own time zone, what a scheduled campaign looks like, changing or cancelling it, the best time to send, and what stops a scheduled campaign.
A campaign goes out now — from its page, with Send Now — or at a time you choose. Here is the second way.
Schedule a campaign
- In the campaign's form, under Schedule, choose Schedule for Later.
- Pick the date and time. The time is your time: the field says which time zone your browser is in, for example Your time (Europe/Sofia).
- Click Create Campaign (or Save Changes when you edit it).
The campaign becomes Scheduled, and its page shows Scheduled for: with the date and time. Push checks every minute and sends it when the time comes. Scheduling needs the Can send campaigns permission, the same as sending now.
Change or call off
Until it starts, a scheduled campaign can change: Edit opens the form — another time, another subject, even back to Save as Draft (send manually). Cancel asks Cancel this scheduled campaign? and the campaign becomes Cancelled: it is not sent. A cancelled campaign cannot be scheduled again — Duplicate makes a new draft from it.
Once a campaign is sending, it cannot be stopped.
The best time to send
The report of a past campaign shows When Subscribers Open — the opens by day of week and hour, in your time. Send the next one shortly before the darkest cells. See The campaign report.
Quiet hours do not apply
Quiet hours for recipe emails in the Hub's workspace settings hold back recipe e-mails at night, not campaigns: a campaign goes out at the time you set. See Workspace settings.
If something doesn't work
The scheduled campaign went back to draft
A check before sending failed at the scheduled time — for example the sender's domain was no longer verified, or during the free trial today's 200 marketing e-mails were already used. The campaign's page says which at the top — This campaign did not go out with the time and the reason — and the list marks it Not sent. Fix it, then click Send Now or schedule it again; the message goes away when the campaign is sent or changed.
The scheduled at field must be a date after now.
The time you picked has passed. Pick a later one.
It went out at a different hour than planned
Campaigns scheduled before 10 October 2026 took the time as UTC — 09:00 meant 12:00 in Sofia in summer. Since then the time is yours. Check Scheduled for: on the campaign's page; it shows your time.
