The activity types are the kinds of activities your team plans and logs. Each has a name, an icon and a colour, a default length and the outcomes asked for when one is done.

Changing the types is for managers: Settings → Activity types.

The base types

Type Default length Outcomes when done
Call 15 minutes Connected, No answer, Left voicemail, Busy, Wrong number — required
Meeting 60 minutes Held, No-show, Rescheduled, Cancelled — required
Task none — a to-do for the day none
Email none none
Deadline none none

The base types are marked Base: rename them, change their length and outcomes, or hide them — they cannot be deleted.

Add a type

  1. Click New activity type.
  2. Name — for example Site visit.
  3. Icon and colour.
  4. Default length — or No set length (a to-do for the day).
  5. Outcomes — what Done offers, for example Visited, Postponed: Add outcome for each. Tick Ask for an outcome when marking done to make one required.
  6. Click Save.

A workspace can have up to 30 activity types.

Change, hide, order and delete

  • The pencil next to a type changes it. Renaming an outcome keeps it on the activities already done.
  • Offered turns a type off and on: a hidden type is not offered for new activities, and the ones already planned keep it.
  • Drag a type to change the order in which they are offered.
  • The bin deletes a type of your own that no activity uses; hide one that is used.

If something doesn't work

Keep at least one activity type active.

At least one type must stay offered.

The base types can be hidden, not deleted.

Turn Offered off instead.

Add at least one outcome, or make the outcome optional.

A type that requires an outcome needs at least one to choose from.

A workspace can have up to 30 activity types.

Hide or delete a type you no longer use before adding another.
