Invite your team and choose what each person can do
Workspace roles, access to each service, seats, and the short way to invite people.
Everyone who works in Monfri should have their own login. You invite them to the workspace and choose what they can do — in the workspace and in each service.
Invite someone
- In the menu on the left, open Members.
- Click + Invite member.
- Enter up to ten e-mail addresses, choose the Workspace role and the Service access, and click Send 1 invitation — or Send 3 invitations, depending on how many you entered.
They get an e-mail with a link, valid for seven days. The details — accepting, resending, what can go wrong: Invitations.
Roles in the workspace
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything an admin can do, plus paying for the plan, turning a service off and deleting the workspace. |
| Admin | Manages the members and the settings, turns services on and uses every one of them. Sees the plan, the usage and the invoices, but cannot pay. |
| Member | Uses the services you give them access to. |
| Guest | Someone from outside, who sees only the specific records shared with them. |
Owners and admins have full access to every service, whatever the per-service settings say.
The primary owner
The person who creates a workspace is its primary owner — Members shows Primary owner next to their role. A workspace can have more owners, but only the primary owner:
- makes someone an owner — by an invitation, a change of role or an approved access request;
- changes the role of another owner or removes them;
- deletes the workspace and cancels the subscription — the other owners can pay and change the card.
Nobody can change the primary owner's role or remove them, and they cannot step down or leave the workspace. To hand the workspace to someone else, the primary owner writes to [email protected]: Leave a workspace or remove a member. Any other owner can make themselves an admin or a member, or leave.
Monfri's e-mails about the plan and the payments go to the primary owner.
Access to each service
For a member you choose, per service, No access, Viewer, Editor or Admin — and a few extra permissions, such as Can send campaigns in Push. The ready-made Preset: CDP editor (view only) gives read-only access to four sections of CDP and to no other service. Everything about it: What each person can open: service access.
Seats
Your plan includes a number of team seats. Members shows how many are used — for example 3 of 5 seats — and the invitation shows how many it would use. Pending invitations count too. See Usage and limits.
Changing or removing access
Click Manage next to the person in Members to change their role or their access, or to remove them: Leave a workspace or remove a member.
Each person's own account — password, sessions, notifications — is theirs: an admin cannot change it.
