Flow templates: start from a ready flow

The eight ready flows on the Templates page — e-mail on a webhook, an AI-written draft, a Linear issue, a daily report, a delayed follow-up, a CDP event to push, a Pages document and a daily log — and how to turn one into your flow.

Templates in the menu has ready flows to start from. Recipes are different — they are set up from the Hub: Recipes.

Use a template

  1. Find it — Search templates…, or a category on the left.
  2. Use Template → Create Flow from Template: give it a Flow Name (you can rename it later) and fill the values under Configure; required ones are marked.
  3. Create Flow opens it in the editor, as a draft. Nothing runs yet.
  4. Connect the apps it needs, test the steps, then Publish: The flow editor.

The templates

Template What it does Needs
Email Notification When a webhook fires, sends an e-mail through Push. Recipient email, Subject
AI Content Generator Writes copy on a topic with OpenAI, then e-mails the draft. an OpenAI connection with your key; Tone, Send draft to
Webhook to Linear Issue Turns an incoming webhook — a support form — into a Linear issue. a Linear connection; Linear team ID
Daily Report Email On a schedule, runs a database query and e-mails the row count. a PostgreSQL connection; Report query, Send report to, Schedule (cron)
Delayed Follow-Up When a webhook fires, waits, then sends a follow-up e-mail. Wait (minutes), Follow-up recipient, Subject
CDP Event → Push Notification When a CDP event arrives, finds the profile and sends them a web push. CDP event to watch, Notification title, Notification body
Webhook → Create Pages Doc When a webhook fires, creates a page in Monfri Pages. Pages Space ID
Daily Log Page On a schedule, creates a dated page for the day's notes in Monfri Pages. Pages Space ID

The e-mails go through Push from your workspace's default sender, as Transactional; set Type to Marketing if yours is an offer or news: Steps in Monfri. A template's Schedule (cron) is in UTC unless you change the trigger's Timezone: Triggers.

If something doesn't work

A template I saw before is gone

Templates that need Slack or Google Sheets are not shown: those apps cannot be connected here.

The flow from a template does not run

It is a draft until you publish it. Then check its trigger — a webhook template needs the other system to send to its URL, with the secret.
