Migrate from ActiveCampaign to Monfri

Step 1 — Export contacts + tags (10 min)

In ActiveCampaign: Contacts → More actions → Export as CSV. Include all custom fields and tags.

Also export: Deals (if on Plus+), Lists (if segmented), Automations list (for reference — actual automation logic doesn't export).

Step 2 — Import to Monfri (15 min)

Upload Contact CSV via Monfri import wizard. Custom fields + tags auto-map. Lists imported as Monfri segments (static).

Deal pipelines: create matching pipelines in Monfri CRM first (Settings → CRM → Pipelines), then import deals with correct pipeline assignment.

Step 3 — Rebuild automations (3-5 hours)

ActiveCampaign automations don't export. Prioritize rebuild:

• High-priority: evergreen nurture sequences, lead scoring flows, lifecycle automations
• Medium: event-triggered campaigns, segmentation rules
• Low: one-off or seasonal automations — rebuild only if active

ActiveCampaign's "If/else" structure maps 1:1 to Monfri Automation's branching. Typical rebuild: 10-20 min per simple automation, 30-60 min per complex one.

Step 4 — Migrate templates (30 min)

Export AC templates as HTML (Templates → select → Actions → Export). Import via Monfri HTML editor. Brand assets (logo, colors) reusable.

Step 5 — Set up sending domain (15 min)

Standard DKIM/SPF setup. Run in parallel with ActiveCampaign's records — both can coexist.

Step 6 — Parallel-run + verify (14 days)

Run both platforms. Monitor deliverability. Once Monfri matches ActiveCampaign's performance, cut over.
