Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026 · Version 1 (2026-10-20) · English is the binding version.
1. Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep full access until then, and there is no cancellation fee. After the period ends the workspace becomes read-only: you can read and export everything, but not write or send (Terms §11).
2. Changing plan
Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period; your limits change on the renewal date. Both are done from Billing.
3. Refunds
3.1 Monthly plans are not refundable. Cancel before the renewal date and you will not be charged again.
3.2 Annual plans. If you cancel within 14 days of the first payment of an annual term, we refund it in full. After that an annual term is not refundable, but you keep access until it ends.
3.3 We also refund, on request, when:
- we charged you after you had cancelled;
- you were charged twice;
- a material feature you had been using was discontinued with less than 30 days' notice — pro rata for the unused period;
- an outage caused by us made the Service unusable for a period we agree was material.
3.4 We do not refund unused capacity, a forgotten cancellation, or a change of mind after the periods above.
3.5 Ask at support (at) monfri.net. We answer within 5 working days.
4. How the money comes back
Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 working days depending on your bank, and Stripe issues the credit note. Stripe may also apply refund rights required by the law of your country; where that gives you more than this policy, the law wins.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails you keep full access for a 14-day grace period while Stripe retries, and we e-mail the workspace owner. If payment has not succeeded after that, the workspace becomes read-only until it does. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
6. Trial
A new workspace gets a 14-day trial of the Growth plan. No card is needed and nothing is charged when it ends — the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a plan.
7. Disputes
If something looks wrong on your invoice, contact us first — it is faster than a chargeback and we can usually fix it the same day. Chargebacks are handled by Stripe under its own process.
